Recipe: Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

I'm not feeling all that great this week. The weather has been rain one day, snow the next and blue bird sunny hot days (83 degrees) the next. It is confusing my body and starting to make me feel a bit sick. So, today it is going to be a lazy day. And I'm starting it out by throwing this in the crock pot for dinner.  Enjoy!

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 cups water
1/2 onion - chopped
2 large carrots - chopped
2 stalks of celery - chopped
1 1/2 Tbsp chicken bouillon
1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups  "Homemade style egg pasta noodles"
1 can cream of chicken soup

Combine all ingredients, except the last two, in crockpot.  Cook on low 7-8 hours or high for 5-6.
Remove chicken and add noodles.  Cook on high 30 min. more (times may vary).  Break apart chicken and add after noodles are tender.  Finally stir in the can of soup, let warm for few minutes. Then serve.

(sorry, not my picture. Just one that looks close to what this recipe should look like)
